Great Wi-Fi, comfy bed, and big flat-screen TV. Off-site parking can be tricky.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, with modern bathrooms and excellent beds that made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is a treat, served in a charming dining area with views overlooking the crescent, featuring both a Full Yorkshire and continental options. They even provide a good pack lunch for your adventures.
Some rooms are quite snug. for instance, the top-floor single ensuite was clean and well-equipped but definitely on the smaller side, which can feel cramped with luggage. Parking is a hassle. although you get a pass for nearby lots, finding a spot is a gamble, especially during busy times, and the sloping ceilings in some rooms can be a real head-banger.

so, my experience at number 7 guest house was almost great, but I just couldn't overlook the slopping ceilings or the lack of a bedside table. Quite frankly, for the price, a complimentary bottle of water would’ve been nice. In the end, nothing could redeem my stay, not even breakfast.

We had a wonderful family stay at this lovely guest house. The breakfasts were a highlight, setting us up perfectly for days spent at Whitby Beach, where the kids enjoyed paddling in the Blue Flag waters. Rich and Jo were fantastic hosts, ensuring everything was just right for us.
My kids wished for more activities available upfront.

Couples will find a gem
Breakfast was really the highlight here Richard made sure I had everything just how I like it and even suggested trying the avocado on toast which was a nice change. The view from my room was just unbeatable you could see right out to the harbour and it felt like a secret escape.
It wasn’t exactly budget but you get what you pay for.

The single room provided an unexpectedly cozy atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat after exploring the vibrant local area. Each morning began with an exceptional breakfast that catered to my dietary needs, ensuring a delightful start to the day. A notable convenience was being able to park just outside the establishment, further enhancing the experience. The room, while small, offered a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep with no disturbances, solidifying my desire to return.

Had the best time here, especially enjoying the incredible breakfast and relaxing in the cozy lounge area with a good book. Plenty of spots nearby made it super easy to unwind, whether at the beach or local gardens. Just wish we could've snagged a room with a view but it didn’t put a damper on our stay. 😄
